Delete your account
You can delete your Karma Connect account, and everything you have written in it, at any time. This page is the public version of the instructions, for anyone who needs them before signing in.
In the app
- Sign in and open Profile (the rank card at the bottom of the sidebar, or the last tab on a phone).
- In the Account card, choose Delete my account.
- Enter your password. If you signed in with Google and never set a password, type your email address instead.
- Choose Delete everything.
Tip: choose Download backup in the same screen first if you want to keep a copy of your notebook.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, name, password hash and any Google link.
- Your whole notebook: every echo, story, sealed check and setting.
- Any pending password-reset links.
It is removed from the live database immediately and cannot be undone. The copy kept on your own device is removed when you sign out or clear the site's data.
If you cannot sign in
Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page to get back in, then follow the steps above. If that is not possible, write to gio.chipchiuri@gmail.com from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted.
